Towards the tail end of summer, when the weather is still warm and sunny (and school has started), I indulge my students into some projects that still have that summer vibe to it.
For our Fun Friday project, we did some painting with popsicles.
You will need:
small water container (found these treat cups at Party City)
food coloring
popsicle sticks
What to do:
Freeze the colored water.
Paint a picture.
It is as simple as that.
We did however, read and discussed the story A Color of His Own by Leo Lionni, so we did some popsicle painting over an enlarged picture of a chameleon.
